Raised by hardworking, blue-collar parents, Stanley was born and raised on a horse farm in rural central Kentucky. She is the first person in her immediate family to graduate with a four-year degree and began her career in community and economic development straight out of graduate school in 2012. It is there where her passion for helping others flourished. Ivy’s true passion is creative and comprehensive troubleshooting - taking her knowledge, applying it to unique and challenging situations, and developing lean, long-term, sustainable solutions.

Stanley joined Next Move Group in April of 2022 as Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Stanley handles our internal operations and directs the technical work of our menu of services and projects. Prior to joining Next Move Group, Stanley served as Director of Regional Development for One East Kentucky, a nine-county regional economic development organization, for almost four years. She spent three years working with the 5-star accredited Bowling Green (Kentucky) Area Chamber of Commerce, and ran community and economic development, as well as Chamber and IDA activities, for the City of Greensburg (Kentucky).

Stanley has experienced great success in process development, grant writing, business retention and expansion, business recruitment, marketing and public relations, and event planning throughout her career. She is a current Kentucky Association for Economic Development (KAED) board member and a member of the organization’s finance committee.

Stanley is a former intern for the MiLB’s Bowling Green Hot Rods and was a force on her sorority’s flag football team. Outside of work, Stanley enjoys playing tennis, photography, baking/cooking, live music, traveling, kayaking, camping, hiking, and spending time on the farm with her family.
